DC Care Sells Second Home for Active Prospects

DC Care Sells Second Home for Active Prospects

On behalf of Active Prospects, DC Care is delighted to announce the recent sale of 129 London Road, situated in a sought-after commuter area of Redhill, Surrey.

This spacious semi-detached former care home features attractive gardens and was previously registered for five service users within the category of learning disability care.

The home closed in mid-2018 as Active Prospects felt the residents, who were subsequently relocated, required a facility more suitable for their needs. The sale of 129 London Road represents the second successful sale DC Care has executed for Active Prospects, following the sale of Queens Park Lodge in Caterham last year.

The property has been acquired by established real-estate investors Selfwood Capital, with the purpose of conversion to a children’s service.

The sale was managed by Southern Region Director Andy Sandel and Senior Sales Negotiator Michelle Natkus. Andy summarised: “129 London Road’s prime location and scope for change of use appealed to a wide range of interested parties including existing care operators, property developers and investors such as Selfwood Capital. I wish them all the best with their project and look forward to sourcing their next acquisition very soon!”
