On behalf of Mark and Sarah Bedward, DC Care is delighted to announce the recent sale of Fotherby House, a care home located to the North of the affluent Lincolnshire village of Louth.
Fotherby House is registered for 20 residents within the categories of residential and dementia care home. The property is deceptively large, beautifully presented and has been well maintained with no expense spared by Mr and Mrs Bedward, who had owned and operated the home since aquiring it through DC Care in 2006.
Looking to retire from the sector they appointed DC Care to market Fotherby House, having worked with them previously with other sales and acquisitions and the home was sold to Quality Care Holdings Ltd, liaising with Alicia Barlow.
The sale of Fotherby House was handled by DC Care’s Director Andy Sandel and Senior Sales Negotiator Clare Duffey. Clare commented “Fotherby House enjoyed a lot of interest with the outstanding reputation with the CQC, for the attention to detail in care applied, it had built up since Mark and Sarah Bedward first bought the home. We were delighted to find a suitable buyer looking to continue applying the high standards of care in Alicia Barlow, and look forward to sourcing their next project.”
