On behalf of the directors of Regency Healthcare, DC Care is delighted to announce the recent successful sale of Rosehaven Residential Care Home in Blackpool.
The home is a sensitively converted ‘Porritt’ house in a magnificent location on a leafy area close to central Blackpool. As the name suggests, Rosehaven has attractive and well-established gardens and rose garden. This property has long been considered one of the most prestigious conversions for residential care in the local area.
The business has been sold to Andrew Cope of ARC Community Care, a Blackpool based Domiciliary Care operator and owner of The Owls Care Home, which Andrew acquired via DC Care in 2016. Andrew plans to refurbish the property and make it a loving home for the benefit of the residents and ensure that they receive personalised care of the highest standard. A daily activities programme has already been introduced and will be continuously improved with the input of the residents.
Andrew commented: “I have just purchased The Rosehaven Care Home in Blackpool and I found DC Care to be thorough, efficient and professional. I would not hesitate to recommend DC Care to buy or sell a care home.”
Director of Regency Healthcare, Fayyaz Chauhdry commented: “I have worked with DC Care both as a purchaser and a vendor on a number of occasions and developed an excellent business relationship. I completely trust the advice DC Care provide and would not hesitate to recommend them. I look forward to working with them again in the future. Selling and buying a business is challenging and the relationship I have with DC Care means I know they will provide me with honest advice and always try their utmost to make the process run as smoothly as possible.”
The sale price was undisclosed.
