On behalf of Charmian Lea, DC Care is delighted to announce the recent successful sale of Orchard House Nursing Home, located in Sutton Coldfield in the West Midlands.
Orchard House is an impressive purpose-built nursing home, first constructed in 1989 and is registered for a maximum of 31 residents. The bedrooms and communal areas are well maintained and presented to a high standard and there is a large comfortable lounge and a spacious conservatory overlooking the attractive gardens.
Looking to sell the home in order to concentrate on her other business interests, Ms Lea appointed DC Care to market the home. The business attracted significant interest from a wide range of prospective purchasers including existing operators. The home was acquired by Shans Care Group, who also acquired The Laurels in Aberdare, Wales through DC Care in 2018.
The sale of Orchard House was handled by DC Care’s Southern Region Director Andy Sandel and Senior Sales Negotiator Michelle Natkus. Andy commented “Michelle and I would like to congratulate Charmian on the sale and wish her all the best for the future. The pent-up demand for high-quality care facilities certainly results in no shortage of interest when they go onto the market. We are delighted to have found such ideal purchasers in the form of Shans Care Group.”
