On behalf of Ian Darbyshire, DC Care is delighted to announce the recent successful sale of Moorlands Residential Home, an attractive Grade II listed property, set within half an acre of landscaped grounds in the centre of Merriott, Somerset.
Moorlands enjoys an excellent reputation of providing high-quality residential care for a maximum of 16 residents, having been owned and operated for over 15 years by Mr Darbyshire, who contacted DC Care looking to concentrate on his business interests closer to home.
The home has been acquired for an undisclosed sum by Janani Selvarajah, an existing care operator within the region, who saw the home as a highly viable option to expand her portfolio. Following completion of the sale, Jana commented “Thank you for your excellent service throughout, the communication was outstanding, chasing solicitors and checking on the process etc. I’m more than happy to recommend DC Care to my friends and colleagues in the future and I will definitely use DC Care again.”
The sale of the businesses was handled by DC Care’s Southern Region Director Andy Sandel and Senior Sales Negotiator Clare Duffey.
