DC Care Sells Lavender Group Homes

DC Care Sells Lavender Group Homes

On behalf of Lavender Group, DC Care is delighted to announce the recent successful sale of Lataya House, Lilly House and Lucerne House, three specialist care homes located in Northamptonshire.

The properties have a combined capacity for 16 young people, providing a personalised provision for children and young people with learning disabilities and complex support needs including autism, epilepsy, mild to moderate learning disabilities and complex behavioural needs.

After being established by Lavender Group the homes gained an excellent reputation both locally in Northamptonshire and with neighbouring counties, resulting in extremely high demand for places.

Looking to diversify their existing portfolio, Lavender Group appointed DC Care to market the homes. Lataya House and Lilly House were acquired by Swanton Care and Lucerne House was acquired by Courtyard Care.

Following completion of the sale, Dawn Aplin of the Lavender Group offered her thanks to DC Care and the purchasers “I would like to thank Andy and all at DC Care for their help and support during the sale. I would like to thank the Buyers for purchasing LGH and wish them every success in the future.”

The sale of the homes was handled by DC Care’s Southern Region Director Andy Sandel and Senior Sales Negotiator Michelle Natkus. Andy commented “The sale of these highly regarded homes offered an exciting opportunity for experienced providers to acquire fully managed businesses returning a healthy profit. The potential for future expansion was virtually unlimited, with the existing business structure providing an ideal platform from which to open additional services.

We were pleased to find suitably experienced providers in Swanton Care and Courtyard Care and look forward to working with them again. It was a pleasure working with Dawn at Lavender Group, Michelle and I would like to pass on our best wishes to Dawn and Lavender Group.”
