DC Care is delighted to announce the recent successful sale of Apple Residential Care Home, located in the popular North Wales coastal town of Colwyn Bay.
Apple Residential Care Home is registered for 16 within the category of mental health care, benefitting from all single accommodation and a good standard of decor that reflects the individual tastes of the residents.
Looking to retire from the industry the outgoing operator Michael Archer appointed DC Care to market Apple Residential Care Home. A suitable purchaser was found in Dr Bruce Moore, who acquired his first care home through DC Care in 2020, Carr Holm in Prestatyn.
Following completion of the sale, Mr Archer offered his thanks. “We decided to sell Apple care home partway through last year and as we knew of DC Care’s excellent reputation we instructed them to act as our agents, we were not disappointed. Within a couple of weeks they had found us a buyer in Dr Moore, who we felt had the same ethos of ourselves for providing quality care and we were confident he would maintain the excellent reputation we have built over the 16 years we have owned Apple The process was difficult, with the Covid restrictions and in our opinion an unnecessarily long time consuming and outdated registration process. Their communication and professionalism were exemplary and we can’t thank them enough. We would like to wish Dr Moore all the very best in his new venture and we are sure that Apple will continue to provide an excellent service under his ownership.”
Dr Moore also offered his thanks. “This is the 2nd care home we have bought through DC Care and once again it has been an enjoyable process thanks to the friendly, helpful and professional support of DC Care staff. We very much look forward to working with them for future care home purchases as we expand the business – Many thanks and keep up the great work!”
