DC Care property agency are pleased to announce the discreet disposal of The Laurels & Pine Lodge Care Home, Poole, Dorset on behalf of their vendor clients Lisa & Ged Evans.
The Laurels originally began trading as a Care Home in 1959, when the owner, a District Nurse, invited a patient to stay over Christmas. The Home was subsequently acquired by our vendor clients in 1987.
Following later additions and incorporating what were originally built as two bungalows; the Home was finally re-registered for 55 residents in 2006, boasting 54 en suite bedrooms. In addition there is valid Planning Permission to add a 14 bed wing.
After 21 years of ownership, Lisa & Ged Evans entrusted DC Care to find a suitable buyer, following the selection of just a few potential buyers, the Home was sold within a very short period of time.
The Home has been acquired by Jo & Sean Gavin of Hants based Hartford Care Ltd, who are delighted to be able to add this Home to their expanding portfolio.
Belinda Quinn from DC Care commented “I was delighted to be instrumental in the sale of The Laurels & Pine Lodge, after 21 years of ownership and lots of soul searching Lisa & Ged had simply decided it was time to move on. It was a pleasure to be able to offer such a lovely Home and bring about a very discreet sale on their behalf”.
